Blackberry or Crapberry?

artist: Kyle Friesen | | 0 comments »

Well i got a mac a while back, probly at least 3 years now. A 20" iMac at home and a 15" Macbook Pro at work. About 8-10 months ago I purchased a Blackberry Pearl 8130. Instantly regretting the terrible relationship it had with my macs. Now many months later i have some sort of breakthroughs...My co-worker has figured out how to get the basics of Bluetooth working between the mac and the blackberry. I now can transfer music and applications from my mac via bluetooth. All you have to do is on your mac go "send file to --whatever your BB is called--, then while thats going, on your blackberry go into the media folder, press BB button, click receive using bluetooth, and voila! it will start transfering," such a simple stupid little thing i never knew. So maybe all you out there knew this, if so, you should have posted it a year ago, if not, hopefully this is helpful.

Just chillin' at angelina's a local coffee shop on the balcony overlookin the ocean. Probably the most peaceful time. Currently working on some work write ups with two other skateboard ministry guys from winnipeg. Unbelievable time. So i met a persian guy yesterday on the street. We ended up chilling out for like almost two hours, he bought me a drink and we walked and talked, was pretty cool. And now he wants to take me to some persian diner tomorrow lol. K, this is sounding a little... i assure you its simply brotherly love lol. The guy is pretty cool. He is a street fighter. Well we are going to skate a little this afternoon and than have some good eatin and fellowship and prayer this evening. Should be a good time. Cliff Heide (the edge skatepark director) is just downing these cookies, he just left to get his third one now, spending a total of over 5 dollars on chocalate chip cookies. Well Peace out.

Mothers day

artist: Kyle Friesen | | 0 comments »

So I'm in the city for mothers day. Right now in the strange middle eastern shop that plays a bunch of weird bongo music, meh. We went into some baby shop, that was run by a china man. And me an him started talking. Its amazing how much you can learn about someone in just a couple minutes, he told me he moved here 4 years back, an his wife was a pharmacist in Steinbach extra foods, small world. An he runs a baby clothing store lol, kinds strange but he was a pretty happy guy. Now we going for supper at beachcombers, should be sweet. On another note the new youth event "the Groove" was last night, prolly had about 160-180 people, so that's a pretty sick turnout. Got to play some b-ball with some kids, also dabbled in some bloody knuckles. Bands wise we had Matt Dirks, and cecelia hildebrandt(theACshow.blogspot.com). Was a sweet night.
Happy mothers day!

Always something new

Me an Christopher have decided to start something new together. After years of being on our own, we are now collaborating on something unique, and fresh. [not to be confused with fresh new thing] so that should be interesting.

We have a popular driveway

So last night at a little after twelve me and my wife candace were watching Dan in real life. The movie had just finished and we were getting ready for sleep, when all of a sudden we hear a horrific blood curdling scream, and it wasnt just once, it was like at least five times. So me and candace walk over to our window and there is a body lying on our driveway screaming. Pretty weird, so we see all of our neighbors coming out to see whats up. We phoned the police, and our neighbor across from us, i guess had already called it in. This girl was just freakin out on the ground, shaking and screaming, no one knew what the heck was going on. So the police got there quite quickly, and the ambulance, and they put her on a stretcher, and took her into the vehicle. I dont know yet what exactly happened. But word was there was an argument between her and a male, and just started choking her out, and then took off down the street. We must have just missed the guy walking away when we went out. So i dont know if they caught him or not yet. I am pretty sure there must have been something she was on, because anyone that walked close, she would just start flailing, and screaming nonsense, so. Ya that was an interesting night.

hey, if anyone actually looks at this blog, you may notice the strange headers. This is my own little place to play around with different strange designs, and concepts that are not good at all yet, and some might be, so, thats why they always change, cause i like to do random play stuff here.

Plans...

well, we are on the sunny beach of belize right now, just flew in from corozal. Its 31 degrees Celcius out here, pretty awesome. So, to be completely honest, that is the sentence we(kyle and candace) had planned on starting off this post with. Unfortunately, the week has looked a little different. Now it looks like, "well, we are in a big comfy bed, in a hotel with a view out the window, into the hotel, we just drove in two days ago. Its -31 degrees Celcius out here, pretty awesome." lol, so its been a very interesting week to say the least. Started off with long waits in hospitals trying to figure out whats going on with my wifes medical issues(i wont go into details). These long waits then caused a missed flight to cancun, Mexico, and a hotel in Minneapolis. So we then cancelled the hotel, and re-booked the flights for the next day. We had peace about this, and carried on. The next day we werent sure if we were even going to go, but we decided we really needed to just relax after the crazy week and a half of craziness, so we booked flights for the next day. Went to the hospital, God set up a really quick examine and ultra sound, and we got out 2 hours later, really good, comparing to the previous 5 hour wait, with not getting in at all!. So we took off to minneapolis, to stay the night, and catch out new flights in the morn. We set off for the border, and just before we got there, we looked at my passport, and low and behold, its expired, lol, so we pulled up to the border and asked if they could do anything. This nice man(probly with hidden motives) tells us its ok, pull up to the garage door #1. So we do, and were waiting, and waiting, and all of a sudden, a guy opens up door #2 and yells, "hey, get in this one!" sternly, and we are like ok, whats going on, these guys seem a little pissed at something we did, what did this guy tell them? So we pull into the garage, i started to open my door, and the guy is like "keep your door shut!, roll down the window", ok i said. He then said get all your money, and identification, and get behind the counter, and we do, and the guy is questioning candace, "what! you dont have a purse, wheres your purse?", candace didnt bring a purse cause we didnt think we would need it. Finally they put us in a room that look like a jail, with another couple who is being questioned, the guy is probly going to jail, because he forgot he had a airsoft gun, in his side door. They were pissed at them. So we talked finally to the border guy about our passport( i have no idea why we had to get integrigated for that but...), and he said i would be able to make to belize ok, but coming back i would probly get taken to the mexican jail, for not having a up to date passport, lol. or we would get a 600 dollar fine... so we just came here to grand forks to lay low, and collect our thoughts. Its been a pretty fun time, if theres one thing i would say to encourage ya'll, i would say, when everything is going pretty crappy and you have absolutely NO idea why the stuff thats happening is happening, our heavenly father has so much incredibly more knowledge of the plans he has for us, we just cant understand sometimes. So taking comfort in that, we are joyful as ever, and trusting our father. Love you all. peace out.
